Hot pineapple salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- reserved juice - 6 Tbsp
- large can chunk pineapple - 1 item
- roll Ritz crackers, crushed - 1 item
How to make hot pineapple salad:
Drain and save juice from both cans of pineapple. Mix reserved juice, flour and sugar; add to the pineapple and mix. Pour in a medium Pyrex dish. Grate cheese; sprinkle over pineapple. Mix crackers and butter and put on top of the cheese. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes, uncovered.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
