Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• salt - 8 tsp
• flour - 4 Tbsp
• water
• vinegar - 1 c
• pepper - 1 tsp
• onion, chopped - 1 item
• hard-boiled eggs - 8 item
• bacon, chopped - 2 lb
• cooked potatoes - 4 qt
• egg yolks beat first - 5 item

How to make hot german potato salad:

Cook sugar, flour, salt, pepper, vinegar, water, margarine and egg yolks until thick. Add bacon and onion to chopped hard-boiled eggs and potatoes. Pour dressing over all. You can keep this warm in a crock-pot if you want.
