Honey mustard steaks with grilled onions
Ingredients/Components
- honey
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1/4 tsp
- coarse grind black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- coarse-grain Dijon-style mustard - 1/3 c
- boneless beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick - 4 item
- each cider vinegar and water - 1 Tbsp
- large red onion, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices - 1 item
How to make honey mustard steaks with grilled onions:
Combine mustard, parsley, honey, vinegar, water, pepper sauce and pepper. Place beef steaks and onion on grid over medium coals; brush both with glaze. Grill 9 to 12 minutes for rare (140°) to medium (160°), turning once and brushing with glaze. Makes 4 servings.Recipe may also be prepared using beef rib eye steaks cut 1 inch thick.
