Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1/2 tsp
• paprika
• garlic powder - 3/4 tsp
• chili powder - 2 tsp
• dash of cayenne - 1 item
• onion powder - 1 tsp
• cumin

How to make homemade taco seasoning mix:

Combine all ingredients. Use instead of 1 (1 1/4 ounce) taco seasoning mix. If not using the entire amounts, store tightly covered in cool, dry place.

Hint from Gillie: Save your empty spice jars. Wash and dry jars well. Double or triple the ingredients and put in jars. Makes a great stocking stuffer for all the cooks on your list.
