Homemade egg noodles
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1/4 1/2
- egg yolks - 3 item
- egg - 1 item
- Gold Medal flour all-purpose - 2 c
How to make homemade egg noodles:
Measure flour into bowl; make a well in center and add egg yolks, whole egg and salt. Thoroughly mix into flour. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Form dough into a ball. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover; let rest 10 minutes. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Roll dough 1 part at a time into paper-thin rectangle. Cut dough crosswise into 1/8-inch strips for narrow noodles and place on towel to dry about 2 hours. When dry, break into smaller strips. Cook in 3 quarts water or broth.
