Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 1/4 c
  • stalks celery, diced - 2 item
  • can French-cut green beans, drained - 1 oz
  • small onion, cut in rings - 1 item
  • each sugar and vinegar - 1/2 c
  • small can pimentos, diced - 1 item
  • small green pepper, cut in rings - 1/2 item
  • small can tiny peas, drained - 1 item

How to make green bean salad:

In large bowl, mix together green beans, peas, celery, green pepper, pimentos and onions. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, vinegar, oil and salt. Pour over bean mixture and gently stir. Cover and let stand in refrigerator for 24 hours. Pour liquid off 1 hour before serving.
