  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • sifted flour - 1 qt
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • well beaten eggs - 2 item
  • buttermilk with 2 tsp
  • nutmeg and vanilla to flavor - 1 item

How to make grandma's sugar cookies:

Place in 1 bowl. Mix and drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° until light brown around edges, about 8 minutes. Can decorate with raisins or colored sugar.
