Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 2/3 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- ginger - 2 to
- molasses or cane syrup - 1/4 c
How to make gingersnaps:
Combine oil and sugar; add egg and beat. Stir in syrup. Combine dry ingredients and mix together. Roll dough in 1-inch balls. Using 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, roll balls in sugar and place 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on rack.
