Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- soda
- molasses - 3/4 c
- ginger - 4 tsp
- margarine - 3/4 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Sift together dry ingredients. Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time and add molasses. Add dry ingredients. Chill thoroughly. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and flatten with a tumbler. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°. Makes 5 dozen cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
