Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- chilled whipping cream - 1 c
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- dark rum
How to make ginger whipped cream:
Using electric mixer, beat first 3 ingredients in large bowl to soft peaks. Add rum and ginger; beat until almost stiff. (Can be prepared 5 hours ahead.) Cover and refrigerate. Makes about 3 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings, Garnishes.
