German apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make german apple cake:
Filling:6 apples1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. lemon juice1/2 c. raisins3 Tbsp. melted butter1 tsp. cinnamon Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until well blended. Add milk and mix to make soft dough. Press in greased 9 x 9-inch pan, pressing around the sides to the top.Filling: Peel, core and slice the apples about 4 cups. Arrange them on top of the dough. Sprinkle with raisins and lemon juice. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over all. Pour melted butter evenly over apples. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes until apples are tender.
