Ingredients/Components
- apple - 1 item
- banana - 1 item
- can pineapple tidbits - 1 item
- box frozen strawberries, thawed - 1 item
- can peaches - 1 item
- can pears - 1 item
- small box cherry jello - 1 item
How to make fruit soup:
For lower calories: Use sugar-free jello and fruit packed in its own juice. Tastes the same!)Empty juices from canned fruit into saucepan and heat to a boil. (If you like soupy end result, add 1 cup water when heating.) Pour into a bowl with jello. Dissolve; then let cool.
Meanwhile, cut up all fruit to the size of the tidbits (or larger). Add cooled jello mixture. (Makes a large recipe so you may wish to put banana in the part you will eat in next 24 hours.) Keep refrigerated.
