Ingredients/Components
- small can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 item
- pineapple tidbits, drained - 1 can
- small jar maraschino cherries, drained - 1 item
- or 3 sliced bananas optional - 2 item
- small box vanilla pudding and pie filling not instant - 1 item
How to make fruit salad:
Drain pineapple juice and mandarin orange juice into saucepan and heat. When hot (do not boil) add box of vanilla pudding and pie filling. Mix well and cook until thickened. Set aside to cool and then stir in the pineapple tidbits and mandarin oranges. Refrigerate.When ready to serve, add the maraschino cherries (can be cut in two, if desired) and the sliced bananas. Serves 6 to 8.
