Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- sweetened fruit peaches, berries, etc - 2 c
How to make fruit cobbler:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add sugar. Stir in milk (just enough to remove lumps). Melt butter in 9 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Pour batter into dish. Spoon fruit into center of butter. Do not stir. Bake at 350° until cobbler is risen and lightly browned.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cobblers and crisps.
