- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- jar maraschino cherries - 1 oz
- Cool Whip, thawed - 1 (8
- chopped pecans optional - 1/2 1
- seedless green grapes optional - 1 c
How to make frozen fruit salad:
Drain cherries and reserve the juice. Blend softened cream cheese and mayonnaise with mixer. Slowly add juice reserved from cherries. When blended, fold in Cool Whip. Cut cherries in halves and add to mixture. Add pineapple, nuts and grapes. Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Place in freezer at least 3 hours. Remove 15 minutes before serving. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
