  • sugar
  • oil - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • alum - 1/4 tsp
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • can green beans - 1 item
  • can kidney beans - 1 item
  • can wax beans - 1 item
  • can lima beans - 1 item
  • green pepper, cut into strips - 1 item
  • large onion, cut into rings - 1 item

How to make four bean salad:

Dressing:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. vinegar1/4 c. oil1/4 tsp. alum Dressing: Heat to boiling and cool.

Drain all beans and combine with other vegetables in large bowl. Toss with cooled dressing and refrigerate overnight.
