  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • large egg - 1 item
  • soft shortening

How to make foolproof pie crust:

Cut shortening into flour containing all dry ingredients. beat water, egg and vinegar together. Add to flour mixture and stir until moist. Chill 1/2 hour. Also, may be frozen for a later time.
