Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
- or 6 eggs - 5 item
How to make flan:
Put first 5 ingredients in the blender (safe). In a square mold make the caramel with 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water. Stir on medium-high until it is golden brown (safe). Put the mix from the blender into the mold with the caramel. Cover with foil paper and bake in a double boiler for 1 hour at 350°. Uncover the last 10 minutes. Let cool. Chill for 1 or 2 hours. Turn it over and enjoy.This is an award winning recipe.
