Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • lemon cake mix - 1 pkg
  • can lemon frosting - 1 item

How to make easy cheesy lemon bars:

Combine cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Mix with fork until moist. Pat into 9 x 13-inch pan; grease pan on bottom only.

Blend frosting and cream cheese; reserve 3/4 cup of mixture for top. Add 2 eggs to remaining mixture. Beat 3 minutes. Spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Spread with reserved frosting mixture.
