Dutch honey bread
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/3 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/3 tsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- honey - 1/3 c
How to make dutch honey bread:
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the buttermilk, egg and honey; blend well. Pour into an oiled 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Yields 1 loaf.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Healthy.
