Ingredients/Components

  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • baking powder
  • all-purpose flour
  • 12 oz - 2 c
  • light brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c
  • sweetened condensed milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine, separated
  • mint extract optional - 1/2 tsp

How to make double chocolate bars:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in 3/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Beat in eggs (and 1/4 teaspoon mint). Stir in 1/3 cup light brown sugar, 1 cup sugar
