- Tony Chachere Creole seasoning a lot - 1 item
How to make deep fried turkey:
Rinse turkey and pat dry. Rub seasoning inside and out of turkey. Wash you hands!!!Heat oil to 350° to 375° in a 40 quart pot. Slowly lower turkey into oil. Cook 4 minutes per pound. Carefully remove from oil and let drain.
I use a wire clothes hanger to twist through turkey, leaving a long handle like end sticking up to lower and raise turkey in and out of oil. But be careful, make sure the hanger is a non painted one.
