  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cold water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 2/3 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda
  • margarine - 2/3 c

How to make dark chocolate cake:

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa. Add margarine, water and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat again. Bake in 2 layer pans or one 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° to 375° until done.
