Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 lb
- flour - 1/2 c
- large eggs - 6 item
- milk - 1 c
- Monterey Jack cheese, grated - 1 lb
- cream cheese - 3 oz
- cottage cheese - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp
How to make crustless quiche:
Melt margarine in pan and stir in flour; cook. Add cream cheese to flour and margarine mixture after it cools a little bit. Beat the eggs; add the milk and blend. Then add all the rest of the ingredients to the eggs and milk.Pour into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake about 45 minutes in a 350° oven. Any vegetable, meat or combination can be added to the basic mix before baking. Some suggestions are: broccoli, mushrooms, onions (saute first), green chiles, crab meat, ham, bacon, sausage and shrimp.
