Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
How to make country biscuits:
Mix baking powder, salt, shortening and 1 cup flour, then add 1 cup milk. Add enough flour to make batter stiff, about 2 1/2 cups. Pat out onto floured board. Cut and bake in hot oven (400°) on lightly greased pan.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
