  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • unbeaten eggs - 3 item
  • sifted self-rising flour - 2 c
  • Add shortening and half of milk

How to make coconut cake:

Sift into mixing bowl flour and sugar. Add shortening and half of milk. Blend two minutes. Add remaining milk, eggs and vanilla and beat two minutes. Pour into two 8-inch prepared pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven at about 350°.Fros
