  • boiling water
  • red hots - 1/2 3/4
  • cherry gelatin - 2 pkg
  • commercial sour cream - 1 item
  • cans applesauce - 2 item

How to make christmas salad:

Melt red hots in boiling water. Add gelatin and stir in applesauce. Chill until firm in a ringed mold (8-inch). Serve with sour cream.

Suggestion: Unmold on plate. Fill center hole with sour cream and decorate around with holly. This salad is especially good served with turkey or baked chicken.
