Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- German chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make chocolate squares:
Melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk and set aside. Mix all other ingredients, except chocolate chips, together and press half the batter in greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Take from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Then cover with caramel mixture. Put remaining batter over caramel mixture by spoonfuls.
