- salt - 1/4 tsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- shredded coconut - 7 oz
- sugar until stiff peaks form - 2 whites,
How to make chocolate macaroons:
Preheat oven to 350°. In double boiler, over simmering water, melt chocolate. Stir in coconut, salt and almond extract. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes until set. Remove from oven immediately and let cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
