  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda
  • chocolate chips - 12 oz
  • powdered sugar - 1 item
  • pure vanilla extract - 1 tsp

How to make chocolate chip cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Beat butter and sugar until light and smooth. Add eggs and blend. Add sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to sour cream mixture. Add chocolate chips. Pour into well-greased tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool 15 minutes in pan. Turn out onto plate; dust with powdered sugar.
