Chinese cucumber salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- sesame oil - 2 tsp
- large cucumber, peeled - 1 item
How to make chinese cucumber salad:
Cut cucumber in 1/2 lengthwise. Scoop out seeds and slice thinly. Sprinkle cucumber with salt and let stand about 30 minutes in a colander.In a bowl, toss cucumber with remaining ingredients and let stand 5 minutes before serving. Make sure sugar has dissolved. Makes 4 servings.
