- cream cheese
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- shortening
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- plain flour
- almond flavor - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla flavor - 1/2 tsp
- jar cherries, chopped - 1/2 oz
How to make cherry pound cake:
Cherry Cream Cheese Frosting:3 oz. cream cheese1/2 stick margarine2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 (10 oz.) jar cherries, chopped1 tsp. vanilla flavor Cream together shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Add flour and milk a little at a time, beating well. Then add cherries and flavor. Pour in a tube pan and bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
