- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- egg whites - 6 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 3 tsp
- crushed saltine crackers - 2 c
- large tub Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make cherry pie cake:
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until stiff. Fold in crushed crackers and pecans. Bake in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan at 325° for 25 minutes. Cool completely. Top with Cool Whip. Put filling over Cool Whip. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Cakes.
