Buttermilk salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- diced celery
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
How to make buttermilk salad:
Mix orange Jell-O and crushed pineapple together in pan and heat until Jell-O melts; cool. Stir in buttermilk and place in freezer for 45 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip, celery and nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch Pyrex container and refrigerate until time to serve. (Delicious and I hate buttermilk.)Recipe categories: Low protein, Salads, Side dish.
