Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- butter 2 sticks - 1/2 lb
How to make butter coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. chopped nuts2 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Cake: Grease pan (spring-form or tube). Set oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add sour cream and butter, sugar mixture alternately, to dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Put batter in pan alternately with topping. Bake for 1 hour. Do not open oven during that hour. Cool for 10 minutes or a little longer. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.Topping: Combine ingredients.
