Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 pt
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder
- baking soda
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
- Beat in one egg at a time
- In greased tube or Bundt pan, pour 1/2 of batter in pan
- a little milk to make icing loose - 1 item
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in one egg at a time. Thoroughly mix. Sift dry ingredients together, then add alternately with sour cream mixture. Add vanilla.Filling:2 tsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. light brown sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix thoroughly. In greased tube or Bundt pan, pour 1/2 of batter in pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of filling. Repeat. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Icing:1 Tbsp. butter1 c. powdered sugar a little milk to make icing loose Put on cake when cool.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
