Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • soda - 5 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 qt
  • honey - 1/2 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • applesauce - 1/2 c
  • whole wheat flour
  • white flour
  • box Raisin Bran - 15 oz

How to make bran muffins:

In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Set aside. In another large bowl, mix wet ingredients. Combine wet mix into dry mix, stirring well. Spray muffin tins with nonstick coating. Fill 2/3 full. Bake at 400° for 18 to 20 minutes. Refrigerate leftover batter to bake another time. It will keep for several weeks.
