Bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- soda - 5 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- honey - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- applesauce - 1/2 c
- whole wheat flour
- white flour
- box Raisin Bran - 15 oz
How to make bran muffins:
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Set aside. In another large bowl, mix wet ingredients. Combine wet mix into dry mix, stirring well. Spray muffin tins with nonstick coating. Fill 2/3 full. Bake at 400° for 18 to 20 minutes. Refrigerate leftover batter to bake another time. It will keep for several weeks.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
