Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 5 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- cooking oil - 1 c
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- Raisin Bran 15 oz
How to make bran muffins:
Mix together all dry ingredients. Combine buttermilk, oil and beaten eggs. Beat well with dry ingredients. This recipe will keep in covered container in refrigerator for at least 6 weeks. When ready to bake, pour into muffin pans and bake in 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.Note: More plumped raisins may be added to this recipe if desired.
