Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 5 c
  • soda - 5 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 qt
  • cooking oil - 1 c
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • Raisin Bran 15 oz

How to make bran muffins:

Mix together all dry ingredients. Combine buttermilk, oil and beaten eggs. Beat well with dry ingredients. This recipe will keep in covered container in refrigerator for at least 6 weeks. When ready to bake, pour into muffin pans and bake in 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.

Note: More plumped raisins may be added to this recipe if desired.
