Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- baking powder
- oleo - 1/4 lb
How to make bow ties:
Mix all the ingredients together. Add milk a little at a time and knead until dough is ready to roll. Roll a small amount at a time. Cut in strips (diamond shape). Put thumb through dough and pull dough through.In deep fryer, heat oil until hot (use Wesson oil). Keep on low flame so it doesn't burn. These fry very quickly so when light brown, flip over on other side and when light brown remove. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
