  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • boiling water - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • grated orange rind - 3 tsp
  • orange rind - 1 tsp
  • Set aside
  • honey or to taste - 2 Tbsp
  • fresh blueberries, washed or frozen, thawed and drained - 1 c

How to make blueberry orange bread:

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Melt butter in boiling water in a small bowl. Add orange juice and orange rind. Beat egg with sugar until light and fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange liquid
