  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • eggs, separated - 2 item
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • cake flour - 2 c
  • chopped nuts if desired - 1 c
  • bitter chocolate, melted and cooled - 4 sq

How to make black magic cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add chocolate, beaten egg yolks and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with milk. Add nuts; fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into pans and bake for 30 minutes in 350° oven.
