Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- cocoa - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
How to make best brownies:
Preheat oven to 325°. In mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars and cocoa until well blended. Beat in eggs, one at a time.In small bowl, mix flour and baking powder together. Stir into cocoa mixture. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch glass dish, which has been lightly greased, bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
For a fudgier, less cake-like brownie, decrease eggs to 3.
