Beef casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- small zucchini - 6 item
How to make beef casserole:
Cut zucchini in 1/2-inch slices. Cook 8 minutes in salt water and drain. Cook beef and onion in oil until done and drain. Add zucchini, salt and pepper. In a separate pan, stir butter and flour until bubbly. Add milk. Stir until thick. Add cheese, salt and pepper.Place 1/2 zucchini slices in a buttered 2-quart casserole. Layer 1/2 meat and cheese sauce. Repeat layers and cover with cracker crumbs. Bake 1/2 hour at 350°.
