Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 4 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- scalded milk
- yeast cake - 1 item
How to make batter rolls:
Add yeast, sugar, salt, oil and egg to milk. Add 2 cups flour and beat well. Gradually stir in more flour until mix is stiff. Let rise until double in bulk. Drop by spoonful into well-greased muffin tin. Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 2 dozen rolls.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Weeknight.
