Basic beer batter
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- all-purpose flour
- bottle beer - 1 oz
How to make basic beer batter:
Combine egg yolks and beer, blending well. Beat in flour, cornstarch and salt. Let stand 1 hour. Beat egg whites until almost firm and whisk into batter.
