Ingredients/Components

  • whipped cream - 1 item
  • bananas - 1 item
  • baked 10-inch pie crust
  • milk for each pkg
  • vanilla pudding and pie filling I use 2 large 1 - 2 pkg

How to make banana pie:

Use only 2 3/4 cups milk for each package pudding. This will make the pudding set better to slice.

Pour into already baked pie crust (baked in 10-inch pie plate) that has been cooled. Prick the bottom and along the sides of the dough inside the pie plate with a fork to make ventilation holes so it will bake properly.

When pudding is ready, place in pie plate. Cover with Glad Wrap and place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. I use real whip cream from the can (light cream). Depends if you like sweet on sweet, then use Cool Whip. Slice banana on pie and whip cream to serve immediately.
