Applesauce nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- packed brown sugar
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1/3 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- finely chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- applesauce - 1 c
- chopped nuts pecans - 3/4 c
How to make applesauce nut bread:
Topping:1/4 c. packed brown sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. finely chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to applesauce mixture. Mix well; stir in nuts. Spoon batter into greased 8-cup loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. While loaf is baking, prepare topping.Topping: Combine ingredients; mix well. Spoon topping on loaf and cover loosely with foil. Bake additional 30 minutes.
