Apple salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- cold water - 1 c
- hot water - 2 c
- container Cool Whip - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- pecan pieces - 1/2 c
- boxes lemon jello - 2 item
- large marshmallows, cut up - 16 item
- large apples, diced, unpeeled - 2 item
How to make apple salad:
Melt jello in hot water. Add marshmallows. Add cold water and let partially set. Fold in pineapple and nuts. Chill until firm. Beat together 3/4 cup sugar, 2 eggs and juice of 1 lemon. Cook to full boil, stirring continuously. Watch closely. Let cool and add 3/4 container Cool Whip. Spread on cooled jello and slice.
