Tropical chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- flaked coconut - 1/2 c
- can mandarin oranges - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1 c
- curry powder - 1/2- 1
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- cubed chicken - 2 c
- salted peanuts or cashews - 1/4 c
- large firm bananas - 2 item
How to make tropical chicken salad:
Place chicken and celery in a large bowl. Combine mayonnaise and curry powder, add to chicken mixture and mix well. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Before serving, add the bananas, oranges, and coconut, toss gently. Serve on salad greens. Sprinkle with nuts.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Chicken.
