Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 16 32
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- hamburger - 2 lb
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- head lettuce, chopped - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- can refried beans - 1 item
- cheese, diced
- chili seasoning - 1 pkg
How to make taco salad:
Saute onion and garlic in oil. Brown hamburger with chili seasoning. Add tomatoes and kidney beans; cook for approximately 15 minutes. Add refried beans, mixing well. Cook about 3 minutes and set aside.In a 9 x 14-inch or larger pan, pour 1/3 of the chili mix. Swirl 8 ounces or more of sour cream in mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Add 2 layers of chips and repeat process until all the chili is used. Top with lettuce and serve.
